Owner and Director, Terry Kurucz started practicing decorative concrete resurfacing many years ago when it was still in it's infancy. He has refined his techniques to be able to create unique, creative and highly functional finishes. With over 20 years in the concrete industry he still speaks passionately about design and installation.

Terry works closely with each client to help define their ideas and transform them into original works of art. Placing concrete horizontally was once thought of as the only way, but Futuristic Designs overcame this and now installs their art on walls creating vertical concrete design. They have educated themselves even further and are able to create detailed rock creations, sophisticated concrete countertops, fireplace surrounds, and even bathtubs.

The options are endless in respect to decorative concrete resurfacing. Not only do these systems look elegant, they are very durable, easy to clean, and offer virtually any color combination with hundreds of styles and patterns to choose from.

Upon completion of several large projects in 2006, Futuristic Designs further advanced their reputation for quality workmanship as the industry leader in Vancouver.

Their projects included a 5,000 sq/ft floor at an upscale custom home that was beautifully customized, designed and created all by Futuristic Designs. Another concrete floor project was installed in Vancouver at one of the largest Harley Davidson motorcycle dealers in the nation (Trev Deeley). This job turned out brilliantly and astounds the thousands of customers who visit the store every day. These are only a few examples.
2007 is off to great start as the staff and company continue to look for new, exiting ventures for the future.
