Concrete Grinding and Polishing Generates Great Interest

King Concepts, attending World of Concrete with their US distributors Niagara
Machine Inc and Hard Rock Tool, experienced unprecedented interest and
demand for their range of concrete floor grinding and polishing equipment this
year. Located on the second floor of the South Hall building King Concepts had a
presence that could not be missed. With four times the amount of interest of
previous years, the team was kept busy for the 4 day show.
Great interest was directed at the quality and strength of the ProGrindTM range of
machinery as well as an acknowledgement of the practical application knowledge
possessed by the individuals from each company manning the booth. Real life
solutions for real life problems were definitely on the agenda.
Newly released for the Show the King Concepts Hydraulic attachment, especially
designed for the Toro Dingo and other skid steer machinery, was warmly
welcomed by those looking to branch out into other areas with their already
existing equipment and by many in the rental industry looking for other alternative
marketplaces. The Hydraulic machine will make parking decks and other hard to
get to projects easier. Designed as a 680 or 820 head the attachment is easy to
transport, use and maintain.
Contractors were generally impressed by the performance rates of the King
machinery and the outcomes generated with some great samples of
HiPERFLOORTM on display to impress.
Particular attention was also paid to the lifespan of the machinery and the
generally long hours before service or attention is needed. In general the
ProGrindTM floor grinders don't require a main service (bearings/belt change)
until around 1000-1500 hours, with Planetary drive sprocket around 500 hours
and the Planetary chain ring around 500-1000hours, these items being really the
only typical maintenance items on the machines. End users were surprised to
hear that the very first prototype, being 10 years old, is still in working operation
today, with very little maintenance required.
