“We treat everybody like we wanted to be treated at our home,” Hansen says. “We do it right the first time, so we don’t have callbacks from clients with problems. And, it’s much more satisfying to have a happy customer with a product that looks really good.”
While 90 percent of Hansen’s clientele is comprised of homeowners, he also works with commercial and industrial clients. In addition to stamped concrete, Don Hansen Enterprises also offers vertical carved stone, stamped coatings, concrete countertops, epoxy garage floor coatings, repair and resurfacing systems, broom finish concrete, re-coloring and resealing of existing stamped concrete, faux stone over walls and planters, and animal design stamps.

While Hansen doesn’t offer a specific guarantee for his products, he will take care of any problems customers may face. “If we do our work right the first time, we don’t have any problems. When a client needs something, they call me, and I take care of it” Hansen says. “The only kind of guarantee I can give with concrete is the surface will not deteriorate and fall off.”
The lifespan of the decorative concrete, according to Hansen, is indeterminate with products having the potential to last as long as 30 years. In fact, Hansen invites customers to visit his office to see decorative concrete, some of which was installed two decades ago, and it still looks attractive.
While Hansen doesn’t have a physical showroom, he has plenty of samples to show his prospective clients: He has transformed his office parking lot and the sidewalks into a showroom of decorative concrete. Each parking space displays a different decorative concrete.

Since Hansen has been in business, he’s undertaken many memorable projects but he counts one recent project as his best.
“We just did a hand carved stone coating for my neighbor, and it just turned out beautiful,” Hansen said. “I was joking with him that I’m going to go out of business after this one because I can never improve over this. It is so perfect, and he loves it, too.”
