For Warren Kuipers, owner of Desert Crete Designs, concrete provides him and his staff with the opportunity to transform grey concrete into something spectacular, something that impresses his clients with its beauty and durability.
Based in Queen Creek, Arizona, Kuipers started his business in Minnesota in 2003 before heading to the southwest in 2005, where Desert Crete Designs now serves residential and commercial clients in the metro Phoenix area. Offering both interior and exterior decorative concrete, Desert Crete Design specializes in acid staining and overlays.
Dye staining, micro finish, troweled, stamped overlays and epoxy and urethane coatings are also common decorative concrete products Desert Crete Design offers their clients. 
As for concrete products, “We mainly use a polymer modified cement mix from Elite Crete Systems, and Super Krete Int.” Kuipers notes.
With the proper care and maintenance, Desert Crete Designs decorative concrete products can last for as many as 10 to 15 years, sometimes longer. Clients also receive a five year warranty against delamination, under normal use and conditions, on installations.
