We don't try to make your floor look like marble or granite; we use the nature of concrete to create something that is new and beautiful. We can create something vibrant or muted to suit your needs.
Acid Stain reacts with the chemicals in your concrete and most of these colors are muted, organic and natural looking. We can also use dyes and water based colors that are vibrant and make a statement. Each floor will take these colors in different and unusual ways and make them special and unique to you. Our projects always take you and your personality in mind to create a floor that you will love and want to live on for many years to come. We believe that this is the ultimate green floor because you are using a floor that is already in place. If you ever want a change, we can micro-top it and start over or you can simply cover it with different product without putting an entire floor in a landfill.
We are happy to talk to you about small projects of countertops, but we do not specialize in large concrete countertop projects. If you need a small bathroom or an outdoor kitchen countertop done, we would be happy to talk to you about your vision. We also make unique and fun concrete coffee tables and outdoor concrete tables.
If you have old and faded stamped concrete or your stamped concrete is in a color that no longer works with your color scheme, we can fix it. We can micro top your old stamped concrete so that you will not lose the pattern, but it will be restored to its beauty. This is a green way to update your home with out having to send old concrete to the landfill and without the expense of having new concrete poured.
If you have added a new area of concrete next to older concrete area, such as expanding a patio for an outdoor kitchen or an outdoor living area, we can micro top both areas so they will match and both will look brand new. When you pull carpet or tile from an existing home, you can have issues such as cracks, divets, ghosting of the old tile pattern, old paint and sealers on the floor, etc. Most people want some "flaws" such as cracks because they add character to the floor, paint, glue, sealers and ghosting is just too much. If that is the case we can micro top it, which will give a new floor to color. This will not fill in cracks and voids, but it will take away ghosting and color imperfections so that it will color more consistently.

There are many benefits to having a stained concrete floor. Re-Crete works on Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects with Architects, General Contractors, Landscape Designers and Homeowners. Our project sizes have run from a few hundred square feet to over 10,000 square feet. Acid Stain is an appropriate floor finish for almost any type of application. Some areas where you might have seen stained floors would be business entrances, malls, restaurants, retail stores, night clubs, offices and showrooms. In homes we commonly do any interior room, especially family rooms, bedrooms and kitchens, outdooor living areas, patios, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, pool decks and outdoor kitchens.
While Re-Crete services the North Texas Area, we are willing to travel anywhere in the US with expenses paid.

When we built our new offices, we wanted to create an outdoor space for all the staff to enjoy when they could. We hired Doug Bhatt at Re-Crete to stain the patio. When he came out to look at our space he told us how he could create a “Concrete Carpet.”
We looked at his on-line design tools and found a pattern that picked up the patterns from the stained glass in our door. He chalked it out in advance on the patio so we could visualize the pattern with the borders. He wanted to make sure we were confident with the design before he began.
The patio turned out beautifully and we get compliments on it every time someone new sees it. He made sure we were a part of the effort and that it was what we wanted.
We are very pleased with the results and recommend Re-Crete to any one who wants their floors to be a distinctive, one of kind, artistic statement.
