The process of resurfacing and stenciling a concrete slab
When designing a concrete finish that requires a grout line pattern or to rejuvinate and decorate an existing concrete surface, stenciling is one of the best ways of doing it.
Although pre-cut grout patterns or stencils are available for standard patterns, another way of creating a pattern is with nylon fiber tape. Nylon impregnated fiber tape can be installed in any pattern or design you choose.
Once the pattern has been laid out, a cement resurfacing system is applied and left to dry.
Once the cement topping has dried, the tape is then pulled off of the surface revealng the grout pattern.
It is now ready to be sealed.
