How to Stencil Concrete
Stenciled Decorative Concrete Application Process
STAGE 1: Placing the ConcreteThe area is formed up, existing building and exposed areas protectively covered then concrete is poured, screeded and floated to the desired levels. | ||
STAGE 2: Laying the StencilThe concrete is ready for placing the paper stencil. The stencil is lightly trowelled onto the surface of the concrete. Borders & other decorative patterns may also be added to enhance the design. | ||
STAGE 3: Placing the ColorThe colors (oxides) are applied and worked into the top layer of the concrete. Colors can also be mixed for added effect. | ||
STAGE 4: Surface is SealedThe stencil is removed, the concrete is swept and a final coat of protective sealant is applied. |
