Patterns, options and design ideas for Stamped Concrete
When choosing stamped concrete the options are endless. Imprinting concrete is a way of adding a pattern or texture to a concrete surface while it is in its 'plastic' state. The concrete is usually broadcast with a color hardener and release agent (to add additional color and to help the stamp mats release from the wet concrete surface) and then imprinted with a pattern of choice.
Most stamped concrete patterns mimic slate, stone, rock, brick and natural textures. There are new patterns that also create various designs and shadowing effects that leave a stylish new finish for those that don't necessarily want a rock pattern.
Here are some of the idustry leading companies' patterns and designs.
