Figure 1&2 - This project turned a cold unused room into a functional workout room and laundry area. The carpet was removed and the concrete was ground and polished to a 150 grit finish. A green acid stain was used and it was sealed with a water based acrylic sealer.
Figure 3- This bathroom floor in a basement was once old carpeting. The carpet was removed and the floor was scraped and cleaned. The floor was then resurfaced with a 1/4 inch self leveling topping concrete and while it was wet, glass beads were inset into the floor. It is a very unique floor as well as extremely functional.
