Sundek, is a proprietary blend of specialized water-soluble polymers and liquid pigments. This formula is designed for staining concrete surfaces or any type of cement overlay. A high adhesion promoter is also included in the formula to give SunH20 exceptional adhesion to concrete surfaces, a major advantage over competitive water based stains.
The formula includes SunH2O, a water based color disperser, and Sundek Crystal Clear, a one part urethane solvent base sealer. To apply the SunH20 system, first clean the surface by power washing and removing all contaminants. Allow the surface to dry until there are no visible signs of water or moisture. Then, apply SunH2O throughout surface. Once the surface is tack free, apply the Sundek Crystal Clear. Slip resistance agents may also be added for safety, depending on your specific needs.
