Owner Matt Bollman and his team follow a strict process on every decorative concrete project to ensure a high quality product and complete customer satisfaction. Once Bollman and the client discuss the client’s vision for the project and work gets underway, the first step is to prepare the concrete surface. During surface preparation, Bollman and his team will repair any cracks, pressure wash the surface, acid etch then neutralize and rinse the surface.
Following the surface preparation, the installation of the base materials will begin. Each type of concrete has its own installation process. For example, if the project calls for a thin stamped overlay, “We install a skim coat of Thin-Finish, a bond coat of Thin-Finish, and then a 1/4 inch think coat of Texture-Pave. We then stamp the Texture-Pave.”
The finishing touches are done once the installation of the base materials has been completed which is followed by the project completion. An important component of the project’s completion is a meeting with the client to discuss proper maintenance of their decorative concrete to ensure a long-lasting lifespan.
Concrete Effects offers a full line of decorative concrete products, including acid stain, concrete dyes, thin-stamped concrete overlays, polyurea coating, sprayed concrete, and troweled concrete. 
A certified Elite Crete installer, Concrete Effects is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. While Concrete Effects accepts credit card payments, they do not provide refunds once the project has gotten underway.
