- Interior Floors
Decorative floors:
Acid staining and dyeing opens an almost unlimited choice of colours and designs. With staining and dyeing there are virtually no limits. We are fully equipped to service our decorative concrete customers from surface preparation to sealing and protecting the finished surface.
Surface Preparation:
Shot blasting: Is a mechanical means of removing old coatings, contaminants and laitance from the concrete. Our shot blaster removes a strip 13" wide and can do up to 3,000 square feet per hour.
Steam washing: When necessary, we high pressure/steam wash the floor to remove oils and contaminents. The process removes oils and separates them from the water so that they can be safely and environmentally disposed of.
Removal of Carpets & Tiles: For some projects we have to remove carpets, tiles, linoleum. All of these create new challenges for the shot blaster as we now have to remove heavy mastic/glue from the floor. - Epoxies and Coatings
Floor coatings can take on many styles and textures.
Anti slip epoxy coatings: There are many options available to provide some traction for safer footing.
High gloss urethanes: Typically used in aircraft hangers and some retail outlets.
Chemical resistant coatings: Battery charging stations; shop floors; food processing facilities.
Decorative coatings: As well as being decorative, these floors can also be functional - for offices, washrooms, showers, garages, and many more uses. - Surface Preparation

CFC Preparation and Coatings is a family based business that prides itself on making the customer's wishes the most important facet of the job. In quoting projects we endeavor to understand the needs and wants of the customer, and, at the same time make every effort to work within the budgetary guidelines.
We have an operation based out of Abbotsford, BC that covers the Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland as well as the Okanagan and Vancouver Island. We've done projects from Kamloops to Campbell River.
CFC Preparation & Coatings is dedicated to the memory of my brother Geoff Dalton (August 16, 1942 - June 27, 2005) who inspired me to not give up when times were difficult; inspired me to always go the extra mile for a customer; and finally, always inspired me to make this company stronger and better. His fighting spirit to carry on is the inspiration that will always keep us going.
