Concrete moisture emissions related failures affecting floor coverings and coatings are one of the most challenging and expensive problems facing architects, builders, specification writers, floor covering installers and building owners, according to John Schneider of Arizona Polymer Floorings. He says, "Moisture related failures amounting to more than 2 billion dollars have been documented over the past two decades, and the figures continue to grow by millions of dollars each year. However, testing and new methods for prevention can provide practical solutions.”

Schneider will be presenting a CES (continuing education seminar) at the architectural Pre-Conference Program March 16th titled "Understanding Concrete Moisture Issues". His presentation will illuminate the root causes of this problem and present ways to prevent these issues prior to flooring installation.

In addition, on March 17th Schneider also will provide a technical training program to update installers and flooring contractors on the methods for Concrete Moisture Mediation. He will teach contractors about testing, evaluating and effectively remediating concrete floors with moisture issues in the seminar, “Concrete Moisture Mitigation: Turning Moisture Problems into Profits.
